Power Transformers

Power transformers with galvanic isolation can be used, e.g., to supply reliable low contact voltage to FELV circuits. In accordance with EN 61558, power transformers provide basic isolation between the primary and secondary sides at a minimum. This makes them ideal for creating new independent networks. BLOCK's standard range includes power ratings of between 0.5 VA and 2,500 VA.

Safety Transformers

Safety transformers with galvanic isolation provide a reliable supply to power circuits with the safety measures “protective separation” or “protection through shutdown”. Double or reinforced isolation between the primary and secondary sides protects SELV and PELV circuits. Safety transformers provide safety extra low voltages below 50 Vac or 120 Vdc. BLOCK's standard range includes power ratings of between 0.5 VA and 2,500 VA.

PCB Transformers

PCB transformers are vacuum molded and feature a very high proof voltage as a result. Used on the PCB, they provide electrical isolation as a power transformer or safe electrical isolation for the input and output sides as an isolating or safety transformer.
